When Terry was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 prostate cancer, doctors gave him just six months to live. Overnight, he lost the life he knew; his work, his independence, his adventures, and the future he had planned.
But Terry’s story is about far more than a medical diagnosis.
Having spent decades avoiding Christianity because of painful experiences in childhood, he never expected that a simple prayer would begin a journey that would lead him to Jesus. Through suffering, unanswered questions, forgiveness, and faith, Terry discovered a hope that reached far beyond his prognosis.
Today, more than five years after being told he had six months to live, Terry continues to share his testimony of God’s grace, healing, and faithfulness.
I met Terry on the Sussex Ministry Training Course (SMTC) and knew his story was one that needed to be heard. Terry is passionate about sharing the gospel, and I can’t wait to see what he does next!
